A promising, exciting job on a boat was listed one day He went for the interview and was hired for the position. After being with the owner and two of the employees, he was second guessing his decision because of their demeanor, but sailing for a year and getting a share of the boat's selling price kept him interested. Once he started the job, the boating experience was overwhelming becau Ben was out of work and checked the want ads daily. Once he started the job, the boating experience was overwhelming because he didn't have any knowledge of nautical terms, but Ben learned quickly.

He enjoyed most of the traveling especially when they stopped at the ports and tended to the wealthy guests.

Stolen Breeze

One disadvantage for Ben was that two of the crew members were not very interesting or pleasant. The crew was heading to Honolulu and then sailing around the South Pacific for a year Day tours seemed to be the order of the day while they waited for Carl, the owner, to return. The daily lives of the island people as well as the routine of being on the boat made up most of the book's plot along with the tension among the characters. The characters, landscapes, and scenes were very well described and allowed the reader to vividly experience how the characters felt and what the landscape and surroundings truly looked like.

The book is a sailing person's dream The beautiful landscape of Tahiti was also well described, along with some mystery and, of course, romance. I enjoyed the book and especially the feeling of being there on the beautiful island of Tahiti Better Than Ever, Again is an interesting tale about one man and his adventure on the high seas and in Tahiti onboard a charter ship for tourists. Carl's ship is hired out and then he hopes that the tourists will turn around and invest in his ship, although Ben doesn't know anything about the later.

As Ben works on the ship, he begins to learn more about Carl, Duane, Rudy and Purrette, and he begins to wonder if he is being told the truth about what is really going on. As I read this story, I was Better Than Ever, Again is an interesting tale about one man and his adventure on the high seas and in Tahiti onboard a charter ship for tourists.

As I read this story, I was never quite sure what was going to happen next.

Sorry, we can't show you that.

I wasn't even sure if this was supposed to be a Thriller or Realistic Fiction story at first. As the story unfolded, I found myself wrapped up in the storytelling and couldn't decide if Carl was a bad man or Duane was as nice as he seemed. I did know that Rudy was not a pleasant person and Purrette turned out to be quite a confusing woman. As it all turns out, some of my suspicions were correct and some where not.

I quite enjoyed this story about Ben Beck and the adventure that would forever change his life. Ben is not a superhero, he is just a guy trying to do a good job and trying to find his way. He finally realizes what he is meant to do and then has it all taken away by the man he is working for.

Will Ben be able to get back to the life and woman that he has come to love? Not being able to sail myself because I would be heaving my guts out while hanging over the railing of a ship, I was able to live vicariously through Ben as he had his own adventure. So, if you are looking for a book about a trip on the high seas and wish to spend some time in Tahiti, Better Than Ever, Again might just be the book for you.

This book has a bit of a mys Better than I expected! This book has a bit of a mystery, what is the real story with this yacht, Carl and Duane. Not to mention Ms Malloy and Rudy as well.

Description

I finished this book in one sitting, I wanted to know how it would turn out for Ben. He seemed like such a nice guy, he didn't know what Carl was really up to! The only thing I could have done without is some of the sex scenes. Not for my personal taste.

All in all, a really good book! Story of a somewhat lost soul getting caught up with a gang of investors in the yacht business, the book is mainly set in Tahiti - and the descriptions are wonderful.
